I downloaded it and played it for hours every day for a few months until I'd exhausted the campaigns. However, I'd never heard of Emperor until a friend recommended it last year. I love city builders, I enjoyed Pharaoh as a child, and I had heard people talk about some of the other games in the City Building series, especially Caesar and Zeus.
